Nova Scotia Designer Crafts Council moves to the Halifax Seaport

On September 1, 2006 the Nova Scotia Designer Crafts Council relocated from Barrington Street to the Halifax Seaport. The Mary E. Black Gallery and five well equipped studios in pottery, jewelry and metal, woodworking, textiles and a multi-purpose space have all relocated.

The Mary E. Black Gallery is Nova Scotia's only public gallery with a fine arts mandate hosting local, regional, national and international fine crafts exhibitions year round.
