Halifax Seaport Proud Sponsor of Word on the Street Festival
(September 25, 2009)- HALIFAX, NS –The Halifax Seaport is a proud sponsor of the Word on the Street Festival, happening at the Cunard Centre this Sunday September 27th. This will mark the 9th year (since 2001) that this Festival has been on the waterfront, at the Halifax Seaport.
The Word on the Street Festival, in its 15th year, provides an opportunity to share in the celebration of reading and championing literacy within our community.
The Halifax Seaport extending from Piers 19 to 23 along the southern end of the Halifax waterfront, is a vibrant arts and culture district and the home to cruise in the Port of Halifax.
