Logistec provides cargo-handling services to the Maritimes and industrial sectors, which consist primarily of the loading and unloading of ships using specialized equipment and experienced personnel. Logistec also operates marine terminals, stores cargo while in transit to and from intermodal connections, and loads and discharges trucks and railway cars.

Maritime Data Centre, Inc.

Provide payroll services for those companies who employ stevedores, checkers, gearmen, freight-handlers at the Port of Halifax.

Nova Scotia Centre for Craft and Design (NSCCD)

The Nova Scotia Designer Crafts Council, has five well-equipped studios in pottery, jewellery and metal, woodworking, textiles, and multi-purpose where courses are offered to the public in spring, fall and winter semesters. Qualified craftspeople are welcome to rent our studios on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis.
