Highly detailed bronze casts of the negative space between held hands evoke the beautiful moments captured between families, old friends or new acquaintances. On Wednesday, September 27 at 5:30 p.m. join artist Charley Young for a discussion about the process and intention behind the creation of The Space Between Held Hands.
Charley is an interdisciplinary artist, and her work is primarily drawing, sculpture, and public installation. The Space Between Held Hands was inspired by the artist’s time spent volunteering with Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia to help settle a Syrian family.
