Diwali, the Indian “festival of lights” symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. Diwali is the biggest festival in India and is observed by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and some Buddhists around the world. Families are invited to join us at the Museum to learn more about Diwali and celebrate with us through dance, activities, special food and presentations.
