Congolese-Canadian author Blaise Ndala is stealing the spotlight at this year’s Francofest, bringing his searing novel Sans capote ni kalachnikov to Halifax. Narrated by two ex-rebel soldiers, Sans capote ni kalachnikov tells the story of a world obsessed with celebrity, rife with commodified poverty and takes a swipe at capitalism and war. The Museum is pleased to welcome Blaise and his gripping novel for Pier 21 Reads on Thursday, November 2 at 7:00 pm.

Pier 21 Reads is offered in partnership with Alliance Française Halifax.
